Tom sounds good on the phone (even before he's had his coffee) -- but that's because his mind isn't really being affected by all this. His weak and shaky physical reality (which I can't check on over the phone) scares the bejaysus out of me. I'll call HIS doctors today and maybe get something constructive done to get him back on track to healing well enough to come home.

We really don't need all this unnecessary bullshit...
