Steve, I did not say that John and Katies contributions to folk music was restricted to playing in a few bands, that is just your misinterpretation of what I said.I mentioned it because their contribution is an example of people whose work has existed, like mine and many others whose" folking"has existed regardless of the EFDSS.
Neither did I say that membership of EFDSS was a requirement for a gold badge.
