Tom says he had a decent night's sleep and he slept late -- didn't answer when I called at 8, but did when I called at 8:30. I'd also left a politely angry and frustrated voicemail for the concierge. I hope they (concierge, doctor, et al) FINALLY understand that a) something is wrong, and b) eliminating or finding and TREATING any infection that could be causing these symptoms is a matter for IMMEDIATE concern. He has a replacement aortic valve -- ANY infection is potentially life-threatening. That's why his teeth were removed back in 2004 -- so mouth/gum bacteria wouldn't endanger him. (Excuse me while I scream for a few minutes...)

Got a call back and made the appointment to get the taxes taken care of tomorrow morning. Another thing checked off the list. Worked out when a friend can come over earlier tomorrow to do some repair work on the floor. (Check)

Well, my hair's dry now, so I'd better get dressed and start eliminating a few more things from my list. ("Just put the book down and back away, Linn...")

Maybe Tom will have had some coffee by the time I call back...

Got a bunch of piddly things (that just take TIME) that need to get done before I head over to Seacoast Orthopedics this afternoon to meet Tom at his appointment with his surgeon.
