The bad news is, they just cancelled Tom's appointment with Dr. Blitzer this afternoon and rescheduled it for Friday when I can't go because I'm working -- but they'll reschedule that reschedule on a day I'm available NEXT week. He's being rescheduled because he's still too frail and tippy to safely travel in the wheelchair van.

The good news is, Dr. Riskalla is at Clipper Harbor now and will be seeing Tom. And Tom's day nurse (who has been doing a great job of keeping me on top of stuff today and yesterday) will let me know what happens and when I should go over today to see Tom.

The other good news is that, for the next two weeks at least, I'm being scheduled for 20 hours at work per week -- that's about 2-1/2 hours more than (at best) I've been getting since the first of the year.

Maybe something will get accomplished today to get Tom back on the road to recovery.
