Subject: Work O' The Weavers @ Borderline 4/22
Travel back in time to the days when Pete Seeger, Ronnie Gilbert, Fred Hellerman, and Lee Hayes known as "The Weavers" fascinated the audiences of the 1950s and 60s with songs like "When The Saints Go Marching In", "Wimoweh", "Tzena Tzena", "Kisses Sweeter Than Wine", and "Goodnight Irene".   Now, James Durst, Martha Sandefer, David Bernz, and Mark Murphy, re-create those very same sounds and arrangements in the modern day version of the quartet known as WORK O' THE WEAVERS.

This fantastic concert, produced by The Borderline Folk Music Club in conjunction with the Friends Of The Nanuet Library will take place next Sunday, April 22nd at 2:00 PM at the Nanuet Public Library, 149 – Church Street (corner Smith St.), Nanuet, NY 10954. Although this concert is already heavily subscribed we still have some good seats remaining.

Admission is $20 per person ($15 for Borderline members) and we ask that you bring a cold pot luck dessert dish to share with 4 other people. Please remember that no alcohol is permitted on premises. For reservations e-mail Sol Zeller at solz1@optonline.net or call (845) 354-4586. You can also visit The Borderline website at www.borderlinefolkmusicclub.org

Our guest emcee for this show will be Bill Hahn, co-host of the folk music program "Traditions" on Radio Station WFDU-FM (89.1).

The library has requested that with the exception of the elderly and mobility impaired, concert attendees should park at the Junior High School parking lot which is immediately adjacent to the library. All parking is free and there is plenty of it. Upon entering the library patrons should immediately proceed to the elevator which will whisk you up to the 3rd floor where the concert hall is located. We strongly recommend that you arrive at the library no later than 1:30 PM so that everyone can be seated in time to begin the concert promptly at 2:00 PM.

Looking forward to seeing you all next Sunday

SOL ZELLER, President
