Your attention may stop at the wall,
At any small object,
At a space too far, or at anything you name.
It may be arrested by evasion, a lie,
Or the hunger of not-knowing.

A lizard decides for himself
When to flee and how
To avoid the roots of roses
And dodge the broccoli.
