I have an understanding of folks who institute those zero tolerance ideas. More often than not they are "nice" people. But I also find, after hanging out with them a while, that I generally have zero tolerance for those people themselves! As I get older I see that time is too precious a commodity for me to waste it compromizing my music and my ideals just to satisfy the narrow ones who hired me and to keep alive the chance of another gig there.
