It makes for pretty exciting viewing, so I usually check it every 5 minutes or so all day long, and I'm keeping a daily journal of observed progress towards completion.
My Dachshund finds it utterly boring, however. "It's not edible," he said, and he went off to take a nap...his main hobby, aside from sounding the alarm and stealing food.
