Ebbie... sticks... no. Fists... no. There are penalties. However, they are not severe enough IMO. And, far worse are dirty, blind hits. The worst is when a large player drags a small player into a fight so he can beat the shit out of him... when that piece of shit captain Chara of Boston hoisted the Stanley Cup I was both disgusted with and ashamed by the NHL.
