gnu, I guess you speak of the hit on Max Pacioretty, and it was vicious! I am no fan of Chara but if memory serves me right the damage was mainly done by the post at the end of the bench. Chara is huge and makes use of his size and I don't like him, but circumstance made this one much worse than it might otherwise have been. Adrien, Rudy Pilous tried in vain to keep Mikita from taking stupid penalties. When he finally got it through his skull that he could not score from the sin bin he became the best player in the NHL. He won the Art Ross, The Hart, and the Lady Bing and first all-star two cosecutive years. I dont believe that has been done before or since!
