MacDonald College in Ste. Anne de Bellevue, McGill's Agriculture campus, used to also be the elementary education faculty until it became a bachelor's degree program on the main Montreal campus. My girlfriend had been there before moving on to McGill for her B.Ed. (we thought that was funny). This was in 1955-56. The MacDonald Lass song was:
I am a pretty lass, I go to M A C, I wear the green and gold, right on my shoulder. And in my future life, I'm going to be his wife! How does he know? I told him so.
When we go walking, I do the talking, He does the squeezing, I do the pleasing. And in my future life, I'm going to be his wife! How does he know? I told him so.
Sorry. My girl only knew two verses, or these were the only ones she would share with me.
