I was just reading a mystery story featuring Milt Kovak, Sheriff of Prophesy County, Oklahoma. Milt is a pretty good guy. One day he was mulling a recent homicide, and wondered why anybody would do such a thing. Then he thought to himself, "There's always a reason, but it's never good enough."

I like that so much I'll repeat it. "There's always a reason, but it's never good enough." No wonder what whacky motive these Ohio bombers think have they have, it's not good enough.
