This is old news now, isn't it? Heard David Simon/Bruno Wolf perform in Chicago-style blues band in NYC at a time where best information has Norman Greenbaum in California. Corresponded with Greenbaum about this issue. Greenbaum stated that Simon/Wolf was indeed a member of Dr. West's Medicine Show and Junk Band for a short time but that they were not the same person and that Simon/Wolf did not appear on the album (although that harmonica playing is eerily similar to Wolf's work with Kweskin). I hope this either clears things up or makes things more muddy.
