What's strange about it. You're the Kid. You're fair game. It is our responsibility to pick at you and insult your taste in music and the like.
It toughens you up and makes you more able to deal with those prople who DON'T care about you. But you, you ungrateful little wretch, have the nerve to complain about the very people (Spaw, Kendall, et al) who are trying, out of the goodness of their hearts, to save you heartaches in later life.
Do you actually think I ENJOY this?
I'd much rather be sitting in my cave sipping a root beer and listening to music.
So go on off and listen to Old Aces or whatever that band is. Don't give a thought to those of us who are trying to do things that are really for your own good.
