He decided, in her infinite wisdom, to take the easy path (I mean, what god wouldn't!) and make living things out of the exact same non-living elements!!! Therefore life was spawned - wait for it - from non-life! It had to be! Even God didn't want to arse around with the laws of nature and make us out of something unrecognisably esoteric! Of course life came from non-life. That much is self-evident. The real argument boils down to whether natural (and well-documented) processes gave rise to life or whether it was your God wot magicked it. So, take it from there and examine the evidence for both sides of the argument. Which, basically, boils down to whether your God actually exists at all. Now that's the easy bit...
