Is anybody else taking part in this "Olympic Marathon Shanty Sing 2012"? It's taking place at the Alma on Kings Head Street, Harwich.

From the event website:
"To coincide with the London Olympics, Harwich Shanty Festival will be holding their own Olympic Event at the Alma in Kings Head Street, Harwich. Commencing at 12.00 noon Saturday 19th May and concluding 2.00p.m. Sunday 20th May we will be holding a Shanty Marathon, singing continuously for 26 hours. This is obviously a collective effort and participants and spectators/audience can stay for as long or as short a time as they wish."

Sounds like it could be fun/ completely mad.
