Like many others my kids draw flying saucers and inter-galactic space rockets but it doesn't mean they've actually invented them :-) Though to be fair in the early design of tanks from caterpiller tractors onwards etc I believe there was American and French input as well as British - and possibly others too. The British were seemingly the first to put it into significant action.
