I really enjoyed driving the Lake Erie shore on the US side, and the trip from Buffalo to Cleveland is a very nice part of it. Lots of lighthouses and pretty sights. Presque Isle Park in Erie has a very nice lighthouse.
(the Canadian shore of Lake Erie doesn't have a road along the shore, so it's hard to see)

Now, Erie does not seem to be the kind of town that would have a Hooters restaurant, but it does - and I ate dinner there one night. The waitresses there were very nice to me...just like ordinary waitresses, but with fewer clothes on.
