I tried Hober and was amazed by how tasteful the selection of music is. It is not all traditional but it is as they say in their description, all "handmade" music. Their criterion is that it is music that a group of musicians getting together in a field could play without resorting to effects or electricity. It is a broader collection of music that I would think I would want to listen to but there is something about listening to Lightnin'Hopkins follwed by Billie Holiday that helps to remind me about the variety of music that is around.

I listen through a 56k modem which usually connects between 45-50k. THe sound quality is wonderful.
