Green jello or no green jello, I'm enthralled by the ingenuity of the glass "sea" surrounding the ship. For those as curious as myself, the ship is dry-docked, not afloat, but the hull was still corroding due to high humidity. The glass surface seals off the area below the waterline so that the relative humidity can be maintained at 22%. Presumably, the area above the waterline is still in good enough shape to not need the extra conservation measures.
