Just because it flies in the face of most reported ghost sightings. It means your 'ladies in white dresses at the top of the staircase' or your 'ghost trains' and 'old men in chains' are obviously delusions as they all contain items that cannot come back to haunt us.

It makes perfect logical sense that a ghost must be starkers, just because you haven't heard it before, doesn't make it a fib.
