In my post of 13th April I should have made it clear that I was referring to the sons of Chiefs and Chieftens,then again it is perhaps not needfull to point this out as most of these ballads refer to people of that class.
                                                                  When did you last see a ballad of this sort involving your local ditcher or dyker?.
