Work to fight for social justice with us at the SEIU Communications Center. The SEIU Communications Center provides support for the organizing and advocacy programs of labor unions and their allies.

The Communications Center is currently hiring part-time, per-diem Contact Center Agents to make outbound phone calls supporting grassroots organizing efforts, and building political power for working families. This is a part-time, on call job that's great for actors, students or other politically inspired progressive people needing a flexible schedule.
Qualifications:

* Dedication to progressive issues and active interest in social movements
* Desire to be involved in political action and grassroots organizing
* Some college experience
* Excellent English reading and speaking skills
* Basic skills in typing and computer use
* Ability to assertively use the telephone as an organizing tool
* Fluency in Spanish is a plus

During the initial probationary and training period of 75 hours, the rate of pay is $8.00 per hour. Thereafter, the rate of pay is $10.00 per hour.
