I have no idea who it was that said "there are no jobs", Sawzaw, so I can't help you with that. There are always certain jobs available for those who either have no choice about it...or are willing to work damn hard for really wretched pay...or under terrible conditions...or who have no moral scruples and are willing to do absolutely anything that pays.

For instance, you can flip hamburgers, work at WalMart, hire on as a Mafia hitman (if you have the credentials, and the pay is great!), become a prostitute, smuggle illegal goods over the border, smuggle in Asian and Russian girls and employ them as sex slaves (very profitable), sell drugs (even more profitable), join the armed forces and go blow up people in central Asia and get shot at for your troubles, work for Blackwater and other mercenary outfits, torture subversives of all kinds, become a prison guard (it's a thriving growth industry)....hell, there must be a million great jobs out there right now for those with a little initiative! ;-)

WHY are people complaining??????? Everything is going just great. And notice what great shape the whole civilian infrastructure is in since all the privatization went forward? Roads, bridges, and other stuff like that have never been in better shape than they are now........right? I just can't imagine why anyone would be living in poverty under these conditions.
