She was very tactile though extremely cold at first. It wasn't until I jumped out of bed and looked back at her that I realized that she wasn't mortal.

Many years ago I had a previous experience that I put down as a hallucination at the time. I woke up in the middle of the night and saw a gargoyle like statue, just over four feet tall, standing right by my bed. I blinked and it became see through, I blinked again and it was gone.

I put it down as a bad dream as I has been watching the Dr. Who episode where they excavated Silbury Hill and had a gargoyle that came to life. It didn't shake my Fundamentalist #2 belief then though, it was just a hallucination.
