Americans elected Obama expecting a departure from the spirit of fascism that's gripping the country. But Obama has given us MORE fascism--more repressive laws, more shady deals with the big banks, less transparency in government, more warfare. Obama duped the country.
And the poor French just booted the fascist nutcase Sarkozy and elected the "socialist" Francois Hollande, but now Hollande's doing an Obama. The World Socialist Web Site's not too happy about the situation:

After winning the French presidential election on Sunday, the Socialist Party's (PS) François Hollande is already positioning himself to drop his limited election promises on social spending and attack the working class with deep budget cuts.
Hollande's victory reflected a broad popular rejection of incumbent President Nicolas Sarkozy's austerity policies and his unpopular imperialist wars.
