I don't know if I believe in revolution really. Most of the one's we've seen seem to involve power hungry beasts ultimately oppressing the masses once again. Now, disintegration, I could go with. The fall of the Roman Empire. Big unwieldly power structures collapsing underneath their own weight, isn't something that horrifies me. As said, I don't see a hideous dystopia in my village if 'the system' were to self destruct (as I think it must inevitably do) rather the seeds of a more sensible and sustainable 'people based' society. No doubt we'd all have to abandon our wide screen TV's for a hoe, but if the alternative is planetary suicide, I can deal with that.
