Let's not forget. If you get fired, you lose your unemployment benifits for at least 6 weeks... maybe longer. At least, that's what my buddy, a "seasonal worker" in the fish processing industry told me.

Ahhh, that's in New brunswick, Canada. And, there are new laws proposed... ya gotta move if yer offered a job elsewhere in NB or lose yer benefits. That is gonna fuck up the fish plants big time... the people who employ seasonal workers.

Yes, I know. It's all very complicated. And, no, I don't know the whole story(ies). Just seems that it's one big clusterfuck with the pot calling the kettle black.
