I assumed "burl" WAS Burl Ives when I first saw him posting here - there was nothing in his postings to indicate who he was for the first few years I read his stuff. (I'd underestimated Ives's age by 20 years or so and thought it quite likely he was still alive). I was fairly pissed off to find I'd been misled.
