Jack, I doubt Burl Ives ever joined the computer age. He lived in quiet retirement and poor health in Anacortes, Washington until his death in 1995, a couple of years before Mudcat came into what it is today. There are a few mudcatters here who were able to make it to one of his last concerts (I believe my father went with them, I think he told me about it after, but I've also talked with Deckman about it.)
