BTW ~ nul points for the officious wittering G. Norton, who couldn't even stop adoring the sound of his own stupid voice when we were trying to hear something important the continuity people were saying, or restrain himself from sharing his crass and unwanted opinions on the performers' appearance and diction when we were trying to listen to their songs. I thought no-one could have been more of a turn-off on the occasion than the unlamented Wogan; but the drivelling Norton managed it.
