Aye - Paul and I also share a common school - De La Salle but he managed to stick it out and I couldn't cope with the homework! Obviously he has the brains. Or a liking for an all boys education run by catholic monks? ;-)

I have only lived in Irlams o' th' Height 9 years - The previous 50 were in Swinton. The Dog and Partridge, which was our second nearest pub by about 10 yards, has now been closed becuase of the second or third shooting. The remaining 3 locals are now all Holts houses, which if anyone shot into no-one would notice. In fact, one regular was hit smack in the middle of the forehead by a 9mm bullet. Missed his brain by about 20cm...

Still rather live here than S**g sheep in Derbyshire though...
