"guess wrong".

Many years ago I was riding home from a concert with some friends. It was about 1AM... guy driving was a professional ambulance driver. On the FAR north end of town we came to a red light. He stopped...and waited....and waited... and waited... No traffic in any direction as far as he eye could see. Musta been 2 minutes (which was normal and natural for that intersection in daytime). Finally, driver say "Screw this, I'm gonna turn!"

He turns left.... and from behind the gas station behind us comes flashing lights and sheriff's car pulls him over and gives him a ticket.

My buddy says... "And I KNEW the cop! He says they get 4-5 a night sitting there!"
