It was a damn complicated time and our government muddied things as much as they could. Should be lots of regrets from lots of people. Kudos to Obama for bringing it up. And those that behaved badly surely feel badly now (I hope). And those that behaved well (lots of definitions for, and degrees of, "well" I am sure) should be proud. Biggest lesson is - let's not repeat okay? Kids coming home now have exponentially more experience (possibly=damage) than those coming from Vietnam. If anyone reads this, and has not read Col.
