Felt a bit uncomfortable at the gig( the last) in Manchester... but Her music shone through; mixture of artists who, as someone has said, did not really fully understand Sandy's personal demons which DID come out in her music - especially her later, rougher, almost 'pop'y stuff. Maddie actually said she was not conversant with Her songs... Thought Bellowhead boys really professional and Thea grasped Sandy's vulnability beautifully. Joan and PP - unsure about their contributions. And 'Matty Groves'! lost all the power and uniqueness of the original. Enjoyed the evening on the whole - just didn't appreciate £9.50 car parking!
