My guess is it was "Min älskling, du är som en ros" by Swedish songwriter Evert Taube. Most Swedes still believe he wrote the words himself but he never pretended he did anything but translate Burns' poem and set it to a tune of his own. It's a beautiful translation but I never liked the tune so I prefer singing it in english to any of the Scots tunes.
I would like to recommend another of Evert Taube's works, though. He wrote a lot of rubbish but "Balladen om briggen Blue Bird of Hull" (The ballad of the brig Blue Bird of Hull) is a little masterpiece. The you tube link below takes you to an enjoyable interpretation of it by a talented Swedish folk singer.
If you are interested I also have a link to a youtube clip with the three recordings Evert Taube himself made of "Min älsklig du är som en ros" - but I personally think the man is a real sleeping pill. ´
