I had the great privilege of knowing and occasionally playing with the Broadside, and I later worked with John Conolly as a duo and as part of a four piece band.
The album you refer to, I think, is called "Songs from the Stocks"...you might find a copy on line....or contact some of the Grimsby folks and see if someone can run you off a copy on a disk....Dave Evardson does have some of my collection of old recordings that I left with him....just can't remember if that album is among them.
The album is a great collection of material....and I am not surprised you enjoyed them '"live"...a great bunch of guys playing great music.
