Nice to hear from Artie I booked them many time at Newcastle Poly and down in Aylesbury and Aspley Guise and they were (and still are )wonderful people. They stayed at my house a number of times. I did pull rank once, and phone Artie up years later when the Singing Kettle was playing in Clydebank. I was up in the Vale of Leven visiting my folks with the kids when they were little. Saw the show was on but the box office said it was sold out. A few phone calls and eventually spoke to Artie, result, some tickets on the door and two delighted kids plus a chance to meet 'the stars' later.
