This is very sad news. I did not know that Caryl was ill. She and I haven't been in contact during the past few years. We met in Jr High and were best friends though High School and many years after. Back in "the day" she took me along when she did her gigs and she taught me a lot about the music world. We used to hang out at The [old]Main Point in Bryn Mawr Pa, where she often took the stage and "sang for her supper."

I hope she is finally at peace. The world has lost a wonderful lady....
