Well, the song was written in 1918 by Geoffrey O'Hara, and it was recorded by Billy Murray. Finding a recording is another matter. Bing Crosby recorded it in 1959, but I don't know if that cut has been reissued. I can sing it for ya.... When the m-moon shines over the cowpatch
