thankyou, speedwell, however just a small correction, the ballydehob traditional festival is a festival that takes place in april, and has different organisers.
The FESTIVAL that took place, 15 17 june and to which you are referring,is The Fastnet Maritime and Folk festival, and is a new festival, and was organised by Dick Miles and Cathy Cook.
The organisers of the April festival which also takes place in Ballydehob are Ann Redmond, Ivan Camier, and Noel Camier

Wide-ranging events also included an all star concert, session trails, music, song and dance workshops, a singing session, a Ceili and Sean Nós Dancing workshops.
The 6th annual Ballydehob Trad Festival will be held in the village of Ballydehob, Co. Cork from 30th March to 1st April 2012 and promises to be a feast of traditional Irish music and dance.
Famous musicians from both locally and farther afield come to the festival. There is a wide range of events including an all star concert; session trails; music, song and dance workshops; a singing session; a céilí and sean nós dancing workshops.

There is a new festival added to the calendar in Ballydehob – the Fastnet Maritime and Folk Fest on 15-17 June 2012. It is an international festival featuring maritime and other folk music including Sea songs, shanties, dance and craft displays, workshops, sea song writing competition, busking, pub music gigs, Irish trad sessions and more.
