As far as I can make out, Rosses sea festival has previously been held in August, this year the date was changed to June.
I tried to plan the Fastnet Festival so that it did not clash with anything else, if I had been aware that Rosses intended to change to JUNE 15, I would have chosen another weekend.
Ballydehob has five festivals which to some extent limits my choice of weekends, my idea was to put it on a weekend when there was very little happening in my region[Munster],and halfway between the Ballydehob Jazz festival[may bank holiday] and the Ballydehob summer festival [august].Ballydehob Summer Festival

Ballydehob Summer Festival will take place from Friday 10th – 20th August, with Old Boats arriving at the pier on Saturday 11th. It's great fun for all the family, and many people also travel into the village to enjoy the activities. Live music, street parade and games, pub quizzes and much more.
The Fastnet Festival was a success and next year I plan to do it again, on the same weekend June 14 15 16, Hope to see you all again.
