Subject: RE: Lyr Req: Blue Fedora (Bud Green, Albert Van Dam)
I remember this song from about 1950. My brother had it on a 78 record and I was only 11 but I played the guitar and learned it. I still sometimes sing it. This is the order of verses as I recall but I have forgoten 3 lines of of one verse. www.sherwinlinton.com

He was a lover, footloose and fancy free.
Where he found the girls, there he was bound to be.
Going from this one to that one, anyone he could find.
Ecah one on his arm, yet none of them on his mind.

Chorus
And he wore a Blue Fedora,
Blue Fedora, tilted over his eye.
When he wasn't kising girls hello,
He was kissing them goodbye.

Down San Domingo, He kissed the village belle,
Her Ma planned a wedding,He planned to say fare well.
Going to far Barcelona,---the next 3 lines escape me
---
---
Repeat chorus

In Honolulu, He lost his heart one day.
Still when he departed, He had it back O.K.
Going from Brown eyes to blue eyes,Taking them all in stride.
Kissing the brides maid,Never the blushing bride. Repeat Chorus
