I don't know if this is Mitt's problem or his strength. But he is acting as if he can say anything he wants and people will not remember it. As a strategy it might not be so bad. I thought I had a pretty clear idea of what Obama was promising in 2008. Except for raising the tax rates on people making more that 250K per year, he has kept every promise. And he tried to explain that one. But still, some liberal friends of mine thought that he promised to end all wars. People like songwronger think he promised a public option for health care. What difference does it make what they promise if most people make up their mind on what they imagine they promised?
