Thread Name: Durham Folk Party, 28th 29th & 30th July
Subject: Durham Folk Party, 28th 29th & 30th July
It's July now and the 23rd Durham Folk Party will burst into new life on the weekend of 28th,29th and 30th July. There will be singers, musicians and dance teams. Sounds like a festival but it ain't, it's a "right old song and dance". There's a campsite at the Rowing Club costing £15 for the weekend, singing will be there on the Saturday and Sunday evening; the Friday evening and Saturday and Sunday lunchtimes we will sing in the Dun Cow; musicians will play in the Shakespeare and dance teams will be out and abour with the famous lunchtime displays in the Market Place. It will be a good do and everyone is welcome.
