My dad is/was fiddle playing John Sloas. Kenny and Dave are his brothers and they did write this song!! They're first album they ever recorded bares the same name "I'm Going Home Again". Dad and Uncle Dave have since left the shores of time, but they were a very talented group of boys/men that taught theirselves how to play the old time bluegrass music and they wrote many of their own songs!!
