Legal coercion does not void a contract.

Basically you can't do anything illegal to get a contract and you cannot have a contract that requires the other party to commit and illegal act.

But there is all kinds of coercion going on in the negotiation and enforcement of contracts, strikes, lockouts, penalty clauses, etc etc.
