Last night was the first of a monthly blues nights at Jagz Ascot,UK with Steve Summers' Blues-rock band. Guest artist to open the night was Nashville's Ned Evett (Ned Evett) who played 2 steel resonators with glasslined fretless necks. He was accompanied by cajon/washboard/shaker player Carl Chavez. Quite an interesting sound. he's on the usual sites: Facebook etc. I don't know if anyone else plays a similar instrument. His other UK dates are on his website.
