Up until thid year I would have agreed with you. This year however under the coaching of Ivan Lendl, kept his head and rarely appeared to get annoyed.

He played well for lost of the tournament but today he was just not good enough to beat Roger Federer who is now - rightly - the World No 1 player.

IMHO Murray is not aggressive enough in his play and a bit like Tim Henman before him he has no 2nd serve to speak of.

Murray must improve this part of his game if he is to become a Grand Slam Winner.

He showed a lot of courage and did his best - but in the circumstances was just not good enough.

He is still only 25 so he has time to improve.

Federer is a worthy champion and a fine ambassador for the sport of tennis.
