If you get a good watermelon or cantaloupe, you shouldn't need either
salt or sugar.

When I was in my late teens, I used to dose my coffee with lots of cream and a couple of spoonsful of sugar. An older friend suggested that I try drinking it as is, right out of the pot, for a week. Then try it again with my usual cream and sugar. I did as he suggested, and when I tried coffee with cream and sugar a week later, it didn't taste like coffee, it tasted like syrup.   Bleeah!!
